CTC Directory Website Terms and Conditions

Welcome to FindaChristianTherapist.com (the “Website”), a directory of licensed psychotherapists who identify as Christian and ascribe to the Nicene Creed and/or Apostles Creed. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website operated by DeoWorks, Inc.  (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Website, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into these Terms. You agree to use the Website solely in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Description of Services 

The Website provides a directory of licensed and pre-licensed psychotherapists and counselors who identify as Christian and ascribe to the Nicene Creed and/or Apostles Creed (the “Directory”). The Directory is intended for informational purposes only. We do not endorse or recommend any particular therapist listed in the Directory, nor do we provide any guarantee of the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information contained therein.

3. Professional Listings

  • Accuracy of Information: All information in your listing must be truthful, accurate, and up-to-date. Misleading or false information is strictly prohibited. If at any time your beliefs change such that you disavow both the Nicene Creed and the Apostles Creed, it is your responsibility to notify us so that your listing can be removed.
  • Compliance: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your listing complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards in your field and jurisdiction.
  • Content Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you provide. By submitting content to the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your listing as part of the directory.
  • Prohibited Content: Listings must not contain:
    • Misrepresentations about qualifications, licensure, credentials, or services.
    • Offensive, discriminatory, or harmful language.
    • Any content that violates intellectual property rights.

4. Modifications to Listings

  • Once this feature is available, you may log into the Platform at any time to modify or update your professional listing.
  • All modifications are subject to review and approval by FindaChristianTherapist.com to ensure compliance with these Terms.
  • Unauthorized changes or misuse of the Platform may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Fees and Payments

  • Membership Fees: Listings in the directory will be free of charge, with an optional suggested donation.  In the future, “premium” listing features may be added for an additional fee.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: The Platform and all associated intellectual property, including but not limited to the website design, logos, and content (excluding user-provided content), are owned by FindaChristianTherapist.com.
  • Usage Rights: You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform without prior written consent.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and/or listing for any of the following reasons:

  1. Violation of these Terms.
  2. Submission of false or misleading information.
  3. Conduct that harms or undermines the integrity of the Platform.

8. Listing Removal and Discretionary Rights

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to remove, modify, or decline to list any therapist in the Directory for any reason or no reason at all, including but not limited to:

  • Failing to adhere to at least the Nicene Creed or the Apostles Creed;
  • Providing false or misleading information;
  • Conduct that we determine, in our sole judgment, to be unethical, unprofessional, or otherwise inappropriate.

Therapists or users shall have no legal claim or remedy against us for the removal or modification of any listing.

9. No Endorsement or Guarantee

The inclusion of a therapist in the Directory does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or guarantee by us. We do not verify the licensing, qualifications, or practices of the therapists listed. Users are solely responsible for independently verifying the credentials, background, and suitability of any therapist they choose to engage.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DeoWorks, Inc. disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:

  • The conduct, acts, or omissions of any therapist listed in the Directory;
  • Any services provided (or not provided) by therapists listed in the Directory;
  • Any interactions, disputes, or relationships formed between users and therapists.

We are not liable for any negligent acts, misconduct, or unethical behavior by therapists listed on the Website. All therapists listed in the Directory operate independently and are not employees, agents, or representatives of DeoWorks, Inc.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and Directory are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any representations or warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Website will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DeoWorks, Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Website, your interactions with therapists listed in the Directory, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of DeoWorks, Inc.  and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content without prior written permission from DeoWorks, Inc. 

14. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the Website after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
